Manhattan to Newark airport: the cheap option

Here are step-by-step instructions for getting from Manhattan to Newark Liberty Airport without the novelty and expense of flying trains. You're welcome.

1. Take the A, C, E, 2, or 3 to World Trade Center station.*
2. Take the PATH train to Newark Penn Station.** Cost: $1.75. Time: ~25 mins.
3. Take bus #62 (here's a PDF bus schedule) to the airport. Tell the bus driver your airline if you're not sure which terminal you need. Cost: $1.35. Time: ~35 mins.

Total cost: $3.10. Total time: Approx 1 hour from WTC.

* Add $2.25 to the total if you don't already have a Metrocard.
